Our story

In 2004 I was introduced to the concept of saddle fitting as a means to give our equine athletes every opportunity of success in optimizing the comfort of the most important piece of equestrian equipment; the saddle. I have always wanted to better the lives of the incredible animals we all love and revere in this sport.

After two years of apprenticeship I started out on my own, working with nearly every major brand of saddle available, all over North America and Europe. It didn’t take long for me to realize horses benefit immensely from a well chosen, well fit, well maintained saddle in both performance and overall wellbeing.

Gradually I established my own loyal customer base of individuals from novice to Grand Prix, all believing in my fit philosophy of suitability, balance and harmony for horse and rider. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best riders in the world in all disciplines, from dressage to eventing to hunters and jumpers, attempting to incorporate their ideas and feedback into my work.

Eventually I aligned myself with brands who share that same set of values, in order to offer my customers a range of saddles, bridles and accessories that enhance comfort and performance, all of which are stocked here in Ontario in order to best serve my wonderful clientele.

I now offer a complete range of services from saddle fit consultation to saddle trials, custom fitting and sales of new saddles as well as refit of existing saddles. I stock a complete range of saddles from the exquisite Albion Saddlemakers and Fairfax Saddles, our new Fairfax custom bridle fitting service- the first bridle ever to be based on scientific research- and clothing and accessories for horse and rider from gorgeous Equestrian Stockholm.

I service the needs of all riders from Novice to Grand Prix including several professional and team riders. I consider myself to be a part of your horse’s wellbeing team and endeavour to include you in my list of happy customers.
